Day 1

Arrive in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania's safari capital at the foot of Mount Meru.

ArrivalFly into Kilimanjaro International Airport. Private transfer to your lodge in Arusha (45 min)
Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa.

07:00Breakfast and depart for Tarangire (approx. 2.5-hour drive from Arusha)

Tip: Tarangire is at its best from June to October when animals congregate around the shrinking river.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti

A scenic drive through the highlands and into the endless plains.

07:00Early breakfast and depart for the Serengeti (approx. 6-hour drive, or opt for a bush flight)
Day 4–5

Serengeti Safari

Two full days exploring the world's most celebrated wildlife arena.

Tip: The Migration moves through different areas of the Serengeti depending on the month. Your guide will advise the best sector.

Day 6

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Travel to the rim of the world's largest intact volcanic caldera.

Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into one of Africa's most extraordinary natural wonders.

06:30Early departure, descend 600 metres into the caldera floor

Tip: The crater can be chilly in the morning (it sits at 2,200m). Bring a warm layer for the early descent.

Departure

Final morning on the crater rim before your journey home.
